In my previous post I suggested that some of the recent writing on Downton Abbey sounded as if it came from an old "Maude" episode, and that a certain Lordship was in danger of turning into Yorkshire's very own Archie Bunker.
Well, I think these side-by-side screen caps speak for themselves, and are proof-positive that Downton is blatantly ripping off old American sit-coms!
